52 Milk Products that could be banned due to high Melamine Content

If you are reading the news lately you will see news about Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) pulling away milk brands and milk products (including chocolate and other dairy products) from the shelves of groceries and stores. Most of these products came or made from China. There are no official word from the Bureau of Food and Drugs yet about the total banning of these products. These milk products/brands could be banned here in our country due to high or excessive Melamine content. The BFAD is currently investigating each brand to see which one has high Melamine content.

Before you head out to your favorite grocery check the updated partial list of milk products collected by BFAD to know if your favorite milk and dairy products are in the list. There are even reports that even Cadbury candy are being pulled from Beijing shops due to melamine concerns.

As of September 29, 2008 The Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) had released a partial list of all the Milk products available in the Philippines that they are currently testing for any Melamine contamination. The ban of these Milk products will be lifted once the BFAD finalizes their investigations and lab tests.

FYI: I saw the melamine topic on ABS-CBN news online (yes, i still read the news sometimes... and during breaks) and the list was forwarded to my by a friends via email and checked out BFAD's website to compare the list... Your Gmail Account Can Be Hacked. Here's How to Protect It...

I've read before that Google now supports SSL and maybe you are just like me who didnt give a damn about the SSL thing on Google. But if i just give some minutes of my time (instead of me watching porn... lol) the jadver attack on my email can be prevented.

"A tool that automatically steals IDs of non-encrypted sessions and breaks into Google Mail accounts has been presented at the Defcon hackers' conference in Las Vegas. Last week, Google introduced a new feature in Gmail that allows users to permanently switch on SSL and use it for every action involving Gmail, not just authentication. Users who did not turn it on now have a serious reason to do so, as Mike Perry, the reverse engineer from San Francisco who developed the hacking tool, is planning to release it in two weeks."

1. Sign in to Gmail.
2. Click Settings at the top of any Gmail page.
3. Set 'Browser Connection' to 'Always use https.'
4. Click Save Changes.
5. Reload Gmail.

Ely Buendia's death

There are rumors spreading that the former Eraserheads frontman Ely Buendia is dead? The rumor of Buendia's death spread like wildfire early this week.

Apparently this rumor is false.

"He (Ely) is alive and well and eating pistachios," Day Cabuhat said.

According to cabuhat, the 37-year-old vocalist just laughed at rumors that he had died after undergoing an angioplasty last September 1 following the long-awaited Eraserheads' reunion concert last month.

Buendia reportedly collapsed backstage and experienced chest pains after the first set of the Eraserheads reunion concert held at the Fort Bonifacio Open Field in Taguig City on August 30. After being treated at Makati Medical Center's emergency room, Ely Buendia was then transferred to the Philippine Heart Center (PHC) the next day.

Cabuhat assured that Buendia's fans and supporters has nothing to worry about the health of the Pupil frontman because he is now doing better and is recovering from surgery.

It sent an automatic reply email spam to everyone who will email me.

I've tried to change password but it didnt work... Till i saw someone posted the same problem when i searched it on the internet or should i say GOOGLED it (lol) the term jadver (note dont visit their website), I saw this very helpful tip on how to solve this problem.

Apparently, all of my contacts are getting this spam because it has changed my "out of office" or "vacation setting" so that anyone sending me an email gets an automatic response with he spam message. Here's how you can fix this problem.

1. Go to " Settings"
2. Change your "Vacation responder" and "Signature" or erase whatever written on that field.
3. Change your password
4. Scan your system for Malware of Adware.

Not so health concious?

Lately I've seen a lot of famous people either dead or in serious health condition. Like Ely Buendia and Francis M.

Ely Buendia, the genius behind Eraserheads, survived his third angioplasty after the now-legendary reunion of his former band last August 30. Another is Francis Magalona, or Francis M, landed in the hospital because of leukemia. Blood donations from fans and friends flooded the hospital’s blood bank after the announcement was made about his need.

Ely Buendia and Francis Magalona are out of danger now. Ely Buendia is now completing his two-month heart rehabilitation therapy at home. For those who dont have any idea what happened to him (i doubt there is anyone) Ely Buendia was rushed to the hospital because of chest pain and was released a week after.

On the other hand, Francis Magalona stayed in the hospital for about a month-and-a-half and also out of hospital. His cohosts in Eat Bulaga are holding a fund-raising show for him over the weekend.

Close observers of the local music industry are wondering why these two super talented musicians, whose works are already etched in local OPM history, are making trips to hospitals at such a young age on account of potentially fatal diseases.

Could their younger, more decadent, carefree years be blamed?

But the “sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll” lifestyle is so ’70s. Even icons from that era, like the now sexagenarian Joey “Pepe” Smith, survived that “unhealthy” lifestyle many times, even serving time in jail.

Are the youth today less conscious of their health? Is it an “emo” thing?

Whatever happens to Buendia and Magalona, their millions of fans are just thrilled that the two are still alive, and hopeful that they and their music will grow old with them.

There are heroes. There are superheroes. And then there's... HANCOCK! My bro just brought home a bunch of dvd's he got from sis and since i love movies i immediately jump out from my chair and grab the bag of goodies, searched for any movies that i havent seen. I picked hancock since a lot of my friends have told me how good it is (especially shobe's brother) . I really enjoyed watching the flick coz its not your typical super hero movie like superman, batman or spiderman. You should watch this flick and meet the superhero everybody loves to hate!

For the love of God, pull your head out, man! If you have to slap a
moronic message on a maxi pad, wouldn't it make more sense to say
something that's actually pertinent, like 'Put down the Hammer' or
'Vehicular Manslaughter is Wrong',

Sir, please inform your Accounting Department that, effective
immediately, there will be an $8 drop in monthly profits, for I have
chosen to take my maxi-pad business elsewhere. And though I will

Eli Buendia

The Erasherheads reunion concert started at around 8:15 p.m. and more than 10 songs were played to eager fans. They then had a break but after forty minutes Eli Buendia’s sister went up to the stage to break the sad news.

“We regret to inform you that we have to cut the concert short. My brother had to be rushed to hospital because of emotional and physical stress he is experiencing,” This was Eli Buendia’s sister Lali said to everyone who was there at The Eraserheads reunion concert after it was stopped or cut short last Saturday night at the Bonifacio Global City Open Field. Everything didn’t go according to plan when the gig was cut short after lead singer Ely Buendia suffered chest pains. After Eraserheads first set, concert organizers and friends rushed Ely Buendia to the Makati Medical Center due to chest pains.
