Orthodontic braces

Since last year, around November I have been visiting my Dentist to for my checkup. Had it cleaned and other necessary things needed to be done... Then last week I consulted a new Dentist and decided that its time for my orthodontic braces. Only the top part have been placed and the lower part of my orthodontic braces will be placed on the 18. I dont have any pictures of my orthodontic braces I forgot to ask for a copy.

Two days from now ill be having a hard time to eat... T__T but i have to endure it since I already decided in my 2009 new year's resolution that i want to have a great smile this year... ^__^

The day the earth stood still movie

Ok. Since it's already January and this happened last month let me pump up this blog again with some interesting things that happened to me last month. I wasnt able to blog about the things i usually do coz I dont have that much energy to blog... nuf excusses. I finally got out to see The Day The Earth Stood Still with chibi at Robinsons Place Ermita. Lately this mall has been one of my favorite places to hang out because I can get there in a zoom and it's near chibi's place plus the fact that you can go out and have fun to used to be manila's party centre. Though chibi waited for me for about an hour... actually it should only be counted as 30 minutes because I got there around 3:30. Ok, Ok... its my fault... I am late! Sorry...

Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly (I thought she was Demi Moore at first) are the stars of The day the earth stood still movie. What made us decide to watch this movie was mainly because of the movie preview footage, the special effects are amazing and I think watching The day the earth stood still movie in IMAX would definitely heightened the experience.

Just found out that the The day the earth stood still was a remake of the original 1951 film by director Robert Wise. I dont know that much about the original movie anyway the story is about Klaatu, an alien who visited Earth and wants to speak to the world leaders about the destructive behavior of the human race and threatens the extinction of our race because we are a big threat to the Earth itself.

I love how Klaatu’s glowing spherical thing landed in Central Park and effects they used to capture the landing specially the woman with a baby stroller that are just standing there watching the spherical spaceship land and how she snatched her baby from the stroller and run for the damn lives. After that... I just have to seat back, relax and enjoy a good movie with my friend chibi...

2009 New year's resolution

Everyone is doing it so I also jumped in the band wagon about making my new year's resolution for this year.

Please dont laugh... this is an honest list so spare me from all your bad criticisms. It doesnt help me and will not make you look good at all... Lol!

1. maintain this blog. at least 1 post a week should be good. Hey I already have 2 for this week... Yehey!

2. Continue having a good smile... I've been undergoing changes to make my smile more okay and fix my teeth... ^__^

3. I want to go to Boracay

4. Excercise... My definition of exercise before is limited to sitting here in front of my pc 8 to 13 hours a day and stopping when i need to go to bed, eat or take a bath. tsk tsk... Me and my friends are planning to go to Boracay on April so I should shed some beer belly before April comes.

5. I want to go to Palawan

I got this email today and apparently its another paypal phising scam by some scumbag. I know a lot of people using Adsense and other ways to monetize their blog and using Paypal. So if you get similar email like this think first before you click the link. If you dont want to be scammed (read Prudential life - Datamex SCAM) be sure to research first or go directly to Paypal's website .

Movie Preview Footage

So let me give you a bang with my first entry for this year. Let me talk about Movie preview footage and how sometimes it can make my life hell and make me feel i was mobbed. Sometimes i really hate movie preview footage or trailers because they tend to make you think that a movie is very good or worth watching. Specially someone like me who can easily be forced to see a movie just by viewing those hypnotic trailers... Movie trailer will show you the amazing special effects and some of the movie's good parts of a movie but that doesnt guarantee that the movie is good. I can give you a long list of movies that failed to entertain me. I learned my lesson that I should not base if a movie is good or not to 1 to 3 minutes preview of the film.
